La Historia de Eric: como una familia encontro ayuda

Eric tiene 9 anos de edad y a pesar de ser tan joven, a menudo se sentia superado por sentimientos de ansiedad que estaban tomando control de su vida. Este nino de tercer grado, se comia las unas y tenia problemas en la escuela a pesar de ser sumamente inteligente. La ansiedad era tan intensa que por momentos necesitaba la compania de sus padres o su hermano para dormir.

Teran Loeppke, a community organizer and United Methodist deacon, thinks that being confident enough to  to ask a person whether he intends to harm himself can open the door to a conversation that can avert a suicide. Loeppke is one of 1,300 graduates of Mental Health First Aid at C4,  a training that helps people recognize signs and symptoms of mental illness.
