Chris Carroll Named President & CEO of Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4)

Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4)’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mr. Chris Carroll has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4) effective June 17, 2016. 
 
Mr. Carroll was previously appointed Interim Executive Director in July 2015, and the board is grateful to him and to all staff, who during that time, have continued to enhance programing and operations of the organization.  
 
“I am very proud of our staff and impressed with C4 as an organization for the accomplishments and developments we have made over this last year and continue to make” stated Mr. Carroll.  “Our future is bright and promising, and we look forward to continuing to offer innovative, comprehensive and relevant behavioral health services, always putting our consumers first.”

Mr. Carroll has been serving C4 and its consumers for over 26 years.  He began his career at C4 in 1990 as a crisis worker for C4’s Screening Assessment and Support Services (SASS) program, and went on to serve as the SASS program director. Continuing in his function as Vice President of Crisis and Justice Services, Mr. Carroll headed the largest SASS crisis program for children and adolescents in the state of Illinois. In addition, he served as director of C4’s Adult Emergency Services Program, the Mental Health Juvenile Justice Program, the agency’s Call Center, and the Emergency Services on-call team for overnight crisis services. 
 
Continuing to evolve his role, while serving as C4’s Interim Executive Director from July 2015-June 2016, Mr. Carroll successfully lead C4 in a time when innovation and collaboration were critical. The board of directors is proud to welcome Mr. Carroll to his new position of President and CEO of Community Counseling Centers of Chicago, and applaud him for his enduring commitment and dedication to the organization.
