Coming Soon: Mental Health First Aid Classes!

C4 is proud to announce that the popular 8-hour public education course, Mental Health First Aid, will be returning later this year! Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) provides individuals with the skills to identify, understand and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. Participants learn the signs and symptoms of anxiety, depression, panic attacks, psychosis and addition. Upon course completion, participants receive a 3-year certification in Mental Health First Aid training which can be beneficial to the general public and professionals such as law enforcement officers, teachers and school staff, healthcare professionals, human resources staff, assistance professionals, public service employees, faith communities, neighborhood groups, parents and families and concerned citizens. All MHFA participants will complete the course with the skills necessary to offer initial help and to connect the individual with appropriate professional care, peer, social and self-help resources.
